In 2015 Executive Grooming Services was established. Founder, James Adam Ivy, Jr, has harbored a passion for barbering since a teenager. He began cutting his own hair and very early on discovered he had a gift for the craft. 

After years of honing his skills in the time honored art of traditional barbering, he began his journey toward legitimacy in the field he loved. His affinity for humanity coupled with his dire love for the craft proved the driving forces behind his quest to complete barber college. An eleven month course curriculum turned into a nine year life changing odyssey. At the age of forty five James completed the requirements for licensing in the state of North Carolina.

The mission of Executive Grooming Services is to enhance the state of humanity one executive service at a time, never forgetting to remain connected and give back to the communities which supported and cultivated his lifelong passion.
